The luxurious Ragusa room is located on the first floor of Bota Palace. This modern room has a touch of Paris. The borders on the walls and soft gray colour tones are reminiscent of Parisian palaces.

The Ragusa room is dominated by a beautiful Renaissance window with a view of Dubrovnik houses, the Franciscan monastery and the church. To the left of the window is a restored stone niche with the “Golden elephant” for happiness, the work of the Dubrovnik sculptor Ivan Mladošić. On the central wall of the room there is a unique painting by the Dubrovnik academic painter Tonko Smokvina, which gives the room the expression of a modern living room in the very centre of Dubrovnik.

The room is equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, an Alessi kettle and a minibar.

The real name of the central street is Placa from the Latin “platea” meaning broad street. The name Stradun originates from the time of the Venetians and means wide road, from the Italian “stradone.” The people of Dubrovnik accepted the Italian name, which has remained until today.
