The luxuriously furnished Spalato room is located on the second floor of Bota Palace, and bears the name of the city of Split. With its stone walls, it will remind you of the beautiful city of Split and its stone buildings, which, like the entire city of Dubrovnik, are under the protection of UNESCO.
In order for each guest to fully enjoy their stay, the room and bathroom exude luxury and are equipped with modern furniture. Artemide lamps adorn the headboards of the double bed, and it is interesting that everything was made to measure by Croatian craftsmen, at the request of the owner. The walls of the room are decorated with two abstract paintings by the academic painter Tonko Smokvina, which add special modern charm to the room. The room is equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, Alessi kettle and a minibar.
The room’s windows overlook Stradun and the neighbouring Široka Street, as well as the red roofs and the walls of Dubrovnik. The peculiarity of Dubrovnik roofs is that they were made of hand-made tiles called “kupe kanalice”, which were produced near Dubrovnik in today’s village of Kupari, which is named after that. One of the factories belonged to Count Caboga, whose family built this monumental house in the centre of the Old Town of Dubrovnik.
